Over darkorbit usa east 20 swiftlock handscraped hickory laminate? Hopefully they fix the stick, it's not great, but it works.Within. Just add some weight to the body of it and you'll feel the nostalgia. Overall, in my mind this is the best non-genuine N64 controller you can get right now. Usability of the stick seems the same, but the noise isn't the most pleasant. I was 50/50 with it at first, but now it's making this awful creaking noise whenever I move it (after about 20 hours of use). The D pad is a little mushy but I've had no issues with it so far. The buttons are extremely tactile, far more than the original. Opening it up and adding weight to the body of the controller fixed this issue completely. It feels cheap and fragile, but in reality it isn't. It is deceptively light to the point where you almost think you'll break it by squeezing the controller too tightly. To start the controller weighs almost nothing. I found this one and did my research on it and it looked to be my best option. Going after an original is tough because by now they're either in fairly rough shape or pretty darn expensive. I did a lot of research to find the best N64 controller out there. Enjoy! (By the way, I haven't tested the D pad or L button, so those may not be valid, but the L button configuration probably is.) # Digital button configuration mappings DPad R = "hat(0 Right)" DPad L = "hat(0 Left)" DPad D = "hat(0 Down)" DPad U = "hat(0 Up)" Start = "button(9)" Z Trig = "button(7)" B Button = "button(8)" A Button = "button(6)" C Button R = "button(1)" C Button L = "button(3)" C Button D = "button(2)" C Button U = "button(0)" R Trig = "button(5)" L Trig = "button(4)" Mempak switch = "" Rumblepak switch = "" # Analog axis configuration mappings X Axis = "axis(0-,0+)" Y Axis = "axis(1-,1+)" Hopefully seeing this will save somebody two hours of hassle. If you are using this controller on mupen64plus, your configuration file should probably look the same.

Pasted below is a snippet from my configuration file. Also, the button mappings for this control seem to be a little unintuitive, but after about an hour of trial-and-error experimentation, I figured it out. For one, mupen64plus puts my configuration file in ~/.config/mupen64plus/mupen64plus.cfg, instead of the /usr/share or /usr/local directories like everybody on the internet says. I most wanted to write this review for people using Mupen64Plus on Linux, since there's not a lot of help online.

Seems like somewhat high latency, but maybe that's just my set up.
