I have memories of nights like this when I was a kid working on Windows 95. If you don't believe me that there is no outbox and items are stuck in Sending mode, please see the image below: Is there anyway I can either clear the cache of outgoing e-mails so I can start this over or get these e-mails to be sent? As a result, emails stuck in the Outbox folder because the email client fails to connect to the mail server because of either internet connectivity issues or some manual errors. The e-mails ever, until I create a new test mailing and hit Send. Emails are stored temporarily in the Outbox folder in case there is a communication problem between the email client and your outgoing mail server.
When I restart Outlook, it actually doesn't try to send I've tried restarting, going online and offline, stopping the sync, restarting the computer. The Sync Status is stuck at Sending (for hours now), and the Sync log shows nothing.

Outlook 2016 for Mac is not showing the Outbox like the online documentation says. You can check several things to ensure whether the email in Outbox is properly sent or not. The Outbox will disappear once the mail is sent. This usually happens due to situations if you are working in offline mode or there is a connection problem. Were so big because Outlook resized the image view (but offers no dialog box for image properties?), but they sent the full images which make the e-mail about 75MB each. The Outbox in Apple Mail appears only when an email you are trying to send is not able to be sent.
Two of the e-mails have large images within them - I did not realize they I have six e-mails queued to be sent in Outlook 2016 for Mac (really, it's the same e-mail three different times because I didn't know what was happening, plus three test e-mails). I did not envision pulling my hair out trying to send a simple e-mail! I'm at my wits-end, a simple e-mail is taking hours! With a young toddler at home I get precious few moments to myself each night.
